BOTOX® vs Brow Lift
These days, it’s all about bold, beautiful brows. If your brows don’t portray strong, youthful confidence, you might need more than microblading. Forehead wrinkles and brow sagging eventually happen to everyone, but when it’s time to revitalize your look, is BOTOX® Cosmetic or brow lift surgery the better choice? These two brow treatments are quite different, and ultimately the best one for you will depend on what you’re looking for.

BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is made from botulinum toxin type A. When injected into the brow area, BOTOX® Cosmetic blocks muscle contractions so that the brows lie smoother and flatter. While it cannot correct brow sagging, it is highly effective in correcting moderate to severe wrinkles in the forehead, brow, and eye area. Ideal candidates for brow improvement with BOTOX® Cosmetic are typically younger, even in their twenties. Regular treatments with BOTOX® Cosmetic approximately every four to six months are necessary to ensure longer-lasting results.
Brow Lift Surgery
A brow lift is a surgery that corrects eyebrow sagging and wrinkles in the upper face. There are two surgical approaches: an open brow lift, which involves an incision across the scalp above the forehead, and an endoscopic brow lift, which involves several small incisions and the use of a small camera. Because the procedure’s primary focus is the correction of eyebrow sagging and excess skin, ideal brow lift candidates are typically at least 40 years old with notably severe wrinkles and sagging in the forehead and brow area. For candidates whose sagging brows inhibit full range of vision, brow lift surgery may be medically necessary. Results from this surgery can last for many years, although the brow area will continue to age naturally.
